He studied journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid. As a journalist, he has received the Gim\u00e9nez Abad Award from the Government of Aragon for Best Parliamentary Chronicle for his writing in El Pa\u00eds, and the Mesonero Romanos Award for his collection of articles Historias de Madrid. He has written history books, essays, and novels. He has published nine books of poetry. Many of his poems have been set to music by Ismael Serrano, Manuel Cuesta, Fran Fern\u00e1ndez, Andr\u00e9s Molina, Antonio Sanz, Par\u00eds Joel, Emiliano del R\u00edo, or Javi Nervio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rodolfo Serrano was born in Villamanta (Madrid) in 1947.
